Just Dice It! was built with user privacy as a top priority. Our app functions entirely on your device and does not collect, transmit, distribute, or sell your personal data.
What We Do and Do Not Do
- No Accounts Required: You do not need to create an account, provide an email address, or sign in to use the app.
- No Tracking Analytics: We do not integrate third-party analytics trackers (like Google Analytics or Flurry) to monitor how you use the app.
- No Advertising IDs: We do not use advertising identifiers (`IDFA`) to serve targeted ads. The app is completely ad-free.
- Local Storage Only: Your preferences, such as your selected theme, dice settings, and roll history, are saved locally on your device using native Apple frameworks (like `UserDefaults`). This data never leaves your device and is never sent to our servers.
Theme Downloads
The app offers the ability to download custom themes (dice faces) via URL imports. When you initiate a theme download within the app:
- The app makes a standard network request to fetch the theme file (`.jdi.theme`).
- No personal device metadata or usage logs are attached to this request.
- The downloaded theme is stored locally on your device for your use in the app.
Changes to This Policy
If we ever decide to change our privacy policy—for instance, if we add optional cloud sync features in the future—we will post those changes prominently here and update the App Store privacy labels accordingly to ensure you are fully informed.
